Environmental impact study	An environmental impact study shall describe the impact the operations will have on the environment, according to the regulations in the Environmental Code.
Exploitation concession	An exploitation concession, which is granted by the Mining Inspectorate, entitles the holder to have disposal of a mineral deposit that has proven to be worth mining. The concession applies to a specified area, which is limited by the extension and location of a proven deposit.
Exploration permit	An exploration permit, which is granted by the Mining Inspectorate, gives the holder exclusive rights to undertake investigations, access to the land within the specified area and precedence right to an exploitation concession.
