Letter from the CEO – March 2013

Just returned from Toronto in Canada and the annual exploration event PDAC, it is challenging to recapitulate the position of Botnia Exploration in comparison with the global exploration world. In place in Toronto, we were approx. 30 000 participants from all over the world. Lots of small so-called junior companies – a concept that also Botnia Exploration falls within – and of course investors and analysts, mixed with the leading mining companies in the world. Together with our chief geologist Frank van der Stijl, we had the opportunity to meet a large number of colleagues and potential stakeholders of Botnia Exploration.

  • One can discern a slight decline in for example diamond drilling in Canada, as well as in other countries like Australia.
  • There are a number of foreign exploration companies active in Sweden, with high tonnage of gold mineralisations, but with low contents. These companies are most likely interested in finding new gold mineralisations with high gold contents.
  • Last, but not least, our opinion that Botnia Exploration, with the latest reported results in Vindelgransele, is well positioned for future investments in Sweden was reinforced.

Back in Sweden and now in the month of March, it is once again time to sit down in peace and quiet and analyse where we stand in our exploration work, particularly in the Vindelgransele area in V
